As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of a high-performance team, operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Core Outputs
  • Ensure seamless client support by meeting or exceeding service-level objectives.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.

  • Lead development initiatives related to:

- New client requirements

- System enhancements and process automation

- Innovation requests

- Scripting and infrastructure as code (IaC)

  • Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training initiatives to address them.

  • Conduct regular assessments of DevOps processes, implementing improvements where necessary.

  • Deliver structured monthly reports covering team performance, client concerns, and project progress.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure automation.

  • Build solutions and solve problems for clients.


Essential Requirements
  • Grade 12 certification.

  • Valid Code B driver’s license with own transport.

  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience with Linux Server, Windows Server, and Networking.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in software development and scripting.

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).


Technical Proficiencies
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Docker, and infrastructure automation.

  • Proficiency in scripting and development: NodeJS, Perl, Bash, Python, PHP.

  • Version control and collaboration: Git, Jira.

  • Configuration management and deployment: Ansible, Terraform.

  • Strong networking knowledge: Cisco (CCNA), Mikrotik, Networking+.

  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API development (REST, JSON, XML, YAML).


Desirable:
  • Certifications in Linux (RHCE), Windows (MCSE), Security+, or VMware.

  • Experience in front-end technologies: VueJS, HTML, CSS.

  • Knowledge of open-source technologies and container orchestration.
